On December 16, Sales and Account Manager Jessica Thurman represented Guardian Pharmacy of Missouri at a Wound Care Symposium at the Maranatha Village Community Center in Springfield, Missouri. The event was hosted by Wound Care Plus, LLC. Chief Executive Officer of Wound Care Plus Martha R. Kelso, RN, LNC, HBOT, led the symposium and spoke on a number of topics ranging from ‘Let’s Get Real about Wounds’ to ‘The Legal Side of Wound Care.’ One of Guardian’s clinical consultant pharmacists, Lori Morgan, RPh, BCGP was on hand to provide diabetic foot exam competency assessments to participants.
“We really enjoyed the opportunity to interact with so many healthcare workers across the region and can’t wait to see everyone at the next event,” says Thurman.
Guardian’s consultants, including nurses and pharmacists, play an integral role in helping to educate long-term care nursing staff.
